Kurt Sutter, the creator of the "Sons of Anarchy" television series, grew up attending Catholic school and much of his religion was incorporated into the show. Despite the violent and sexual themes (though it's no HBO) the show actually contains a lot of religious symbolism in its unlikely characters. God, the saviour Jesus Christ, the last supper, are all themes hidden throughout the series.
